Project Overview Lacus Post was tasked with the intricate Color Grading process for "Los Estraniños," a short film project shot with a Blackmagic 4K camera. Our team worked extensively with ACES Colorspace to ensure precise and dynamic color management throughout the project, delivering a final visual product that elevated the narrative's mood and emotional impact.

Challenges & Approach Color Grading "Los Estraniños" presented unique challenges, primarily due to the diverse lighting conditions and the need for seamless transitions between day and night scenes. The Blackmagic 4K's raw footage offered an impressive range of data, but required meticulous adjustments to harness the camera's full potential. To address this, we leveraged ACES Colorspace, ensuring consistent and accurate color representation from on-set monitoring to the final delivery.
