For Raising Kanan, Lacus Post contributed episodic visual effects focused on blood compositing, gunshot impacts, and advanced tracking. Our work involved enhancing practical, on-set blood effects by integrating high-quality CG blood elements, allowing for greater control, realism, and continuity across shots.
 

Special attention was given to blending 2D and 3D elements seamlessly with live-action footage, preserving the show’s raw and authentic tone. Through careful refinement of timing, interaction, and lighting, we ensured that each effect supported the narrative without drawing attention away from performance or storytelling.
